Companies battle it out to see who is the worst!

http://consumerist.com/2012/03/the-8-remaining-worst-company-in-america-contenders-are-an-elite-bunch.html

Whaddya know, EA managed to squeak by Sony! lol
This is what I think will happen: EA will overtake Comcast due to overwhelming votes out of the gamer community, both inside and outside the developer's side of games. Walmart will beat out Paypal, which is bizarre to me why they're on here in the first place, maybe someone will get back to me on that. Meanwhile, Ticketmaster will fall to Bank Of America's fees and general consumer hatred, the same thing with AT&T against Facebook with AT&T moving on.

In the next round that puts AT&T against EA where AT&T will win out, and Bank of America versus Walmart will see the bank continue. I'm calling the victor out to be AT&T.

It's a bit odd that they came up with this thing anyway. Does this happen every year or is just this one? Either way it's going to be interesting to see the end results.
Don't know, actually, this is the first time I've seen it.

I just thought it was funny the way they put it together like a playoff. But apparently you and me are the only ones. :-)

Didn't you read the text below the picture? It mentions Comcast winning it in 2010. Clicking on the Worst Company In America tag show results going back a fair bit, the earliest being in 2006.
This is the ultimate showdown, of ultimate destiny. Good guys, bad guys and explosions, as far as the eye can see.
you know what's really bullshit about this "Competition"?

The fact that Microsoft is not a contender (or at least it's gaming division)

The next round has popped up. It looks like so far I've been totally accurate, though I don't think there were many people who would have voted on Facebook or Ticketmaster
Oh, c'mon! My winning horse is already out of the competition... That's not fair! (Apple, it practically uses Chinese slaves to produce a huge amount of hi-tech garbage that needs to be re-purchase every 6 months or so....)

Apple is sort of like Valve

They do a lot of bad things that if other companies did it - they would get slaughtered publically but Both of them are VERY good at keeping a "Good face" to the public so they get away with it, especially Valve who many people still consider that it cares about them

Well, not imho: they have Robust Gabe, and they have made Half-Life 2. Steam is just DRM crap from my point of view, but their contribution to the gaming humanity thus far can't be denied...

I did not mean that directly, I was just making an example

such as?

the negativity in your posts - a constant torrent of complaints - is mindboggling. do you actually still find joy in gaming, or are you just in for the complaining?

Day 1 DLC in Portal 2
Lying to community about HL episode 3 release
Ruined TF2 with Mann Co store and F2P
Made a lot of people think that DRM is ok by using the most simple marketing techniques
Most of their games were not made by them and are simply mods

And so on, these are just some examples, my point was: both of these companies are Very good at keeping a "Good face" image in the public and have some of the most ridiculous company cult followings ever

Also: I'm never negative just for the sake of it, I know at first glance it seems like I do but I'm not. I always have solid facts and arguments when I critisize something or someone, Valve of course is nowhere near as bad as Apple (If you were here on the forums after Steve died, you would very clearly know my attitude towards that company)
Either EA's gonna win or Facebook is gonna. EA due to large number of gamers but Face may get back due to the fact there's a lot of users.

that's probably my bet as well

Also, since I don't live in the region, I'll ask just out of curiosity - Why do people hate Bank of America? What have they done to piss off so many people?
