Also on a side note I watched the original Blade Runner and well I thought, eh I have seen this kind of story before and it did not help that I read Spoony's review which exposed the serious flaws in the movie before the movie came out on TV when I recorded it:

And the most stupid line ever in the movie that pretty much states the freaking obvious:

"Skinjobs, thats what Bryant called Replicants, in the history books he's the kind of cop that called black men n###ers."

You watched the Director's Cut, right?

If that is what it was than yeah thats what they showed on the ENCOR channel.
Ah right I'd heard about this about a month ago because one of the actresses from the original went insane when she heard she wasn't in it or something.

Elmo, did it have narration?

Let me rephrase that:

Yes it was the Director's Cut that the ENCOR movie channel showed when I first watched the film.

Yes. Rick Deckard did the narration.

I'm pretty sure the one with narration is not the director's cut, but the theatrical one. And if it was that one, then my condolences.

My thoughts exactly. Normally I don't go in the on the "Oh the directors cut is way better." but in this instance this is the case times 100. Not only the narration, but the variation in the ending, the unicorn, it's a whole different ball game.
There are many versions:

Narration Blade Runner is the original theatrical release. It BOMBED!!!! I did not know it was shown anymore.
The best release is the Directors Cut as it makes the story flow nicer and it feels as though you are watching it happen, rather then the telling of a story by an old man.
I still think it's better than the book though Dickey fans will no doubt want to burn me for uttering such heresy.

You mean the "Blade Runner" or "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" ?

EDIT: Oh right, Dickey fans. Got it.

The book is nice, but like A Scanner Darkly the movies are better then their books.

I agree, though I might be influenced by having watched the film first.
