Also on a side note I watched the original Blade Runner and well I thought, eh I have seen this kind of story before and it did not help that I read Spoony's review which exposed the serious flaws in the movie before the movie came out on TV when I recorded it:

Ah right I'd heard about this about a month ago because one of the actresses from the original went insane when she heard she wasn't in it or something.

My thoughts exactly. Normally I don't go in the on the "Oh the directors cut is way better." but in this instance this is the case times 100. Not only the narration, but the variation in the ending, the unicorn, it's a whole different ball game.

Narration Blade Runner is the original theatrical release. It BOMBED!!!! I did not know it was shown anymore.
The best release is the Directors Cut as it makes the story flow nicer and it feels as though you are watching it happen, rather then the telling of a story by an old man.

The book is nice, but like A Scanner Darkly the movies are better then their books.
