When I shoot someone, I don't get red blood effects on the model but rather black bullet holes which almost look more painful than the blood.
When I gib someone I see some green juice and then springs, bunnies, clocks and other thing floating around.

Is there any justification for that? Or is it simply failure to move with the times? Either way, given the state of distribution of western games in Japan, that must suck.

If anyone was to gift a Mirror's Edge to me on steam for $4.99 then it'd be much appreciated. Could gift something of the same approx value on steam or gog in return. Account name is similar, but without the end "r" and with a "_" in the middle.

If there is, I haven't seen it stated anywhere. And yes, it sucks. But there are ways around it (for example, the UK version of GamersGate for better priced EA titles and cross-region gifting of course).

I'd recommend not gifting Messiah of Might and Magic from germany as the resulting game may be cut.. not sure about it but I thought that game was a bit gory.

I was unfortunatly unable to help dragonmaster out with gifting the games due to getting authorization errors from steam. He sent the money, paypal accepted it, got through paypal but on the final screen for steam it threw up that error. So he still needs help.

I have a rack full of 9 servers standing in canada, some of them running windows. I should be able to access the steam store from there .. it would not work with my german paypal though, but there is a system called entropay to create region-free credit cards.
With a combination of those 2 things i could prolly get the games to you, the only issue is that entropay would charge me 5% i think fee to load the debit card. Still, if you havnt found help tomorrow I will help you out =)
