I did, and completed it with all the endings. What would you want to know?

I did not found much sense on it. Not as a game.

Oh yeah, I played it when it was new. It was actually my first digital purchase ever.
As for the game - well, there's not much gameplay and I guess the game was far more impressive back then, before we were bombarded with zillions of these artistic indie "games" that aren't really games. It's a bit like the previous game by the same team, The Graveyard, which you can also get on Steam. The main difference is pretty much the size. Whereas The Graveyard was a really small thing with only a tiny area in The Path you have a huge forest to explore, with multiple characters at that. A forest that goes on and on.
It's really about walking aimlessly through the forest, inhaling the atmosphere and hoping that eventually you stumble upon something interesting/important. There's no challenge to it, no combat, no puzzles. Navigating the forest is pretty tough but it's not really about finishing the game as quickly as you can - you have to be patient and willing to spend a lot of time doing "nothing". The things you can/will discover have all sorts of hidden meanings, obscure messages will be displayed and the real effort is putting together all the pieces and interpreting the stuff you witness which is largely pretty abstract and surreal. If you're okay with something that's more of an "interactive experience" than a game you may enjoy it. I certainly considered it better than Dear Esther and if more people had played The Path Dear Esther would not have been such a big deal. :P

You -might- get a few hours of wandering around out of it. It's not much of a game, or a experience, so it ends up feeling like a attempt at something grander. That was my take on it anyway.

F1ach: Is it good, reviews are kinda mixed, its only 10 bucks, but while I am interested Im unsure of whether to buy it.
It's not a game for everybody, and many consider this software not a game at all... I'm still not sure what to choose (:P) The game is about a group of 6 sisters of different ages, from child to teen, and everyone with different personalities and behavior. You have to pick one of them, which they are selectable from the main menu, and you will be placed at the end of a long and clear path. In the opposite side in the distance, is your objective: a house, where their grandmother is. From the official description of the game: "There is one rule in the game. And it needs to be broken. There is one goal. And when you attain it, you die", it means that you have to go the grandmother's house, that's the rule, except once you do, you will die...
The game is a re-imagined tale of the Little Red Riding Hood, or at least, clearly based on. Once you get there, the girls will meet the wolf, and will die, each one in a different way, and once they do, you will see an "ending", and you have to pick another girl to do exactly the same... It sounds cruel and boring, except that, if you read the description "...And it needs to be broken", it means that you have to think out of the box. At each side of the path is the forest. If you go out of the path an into the forest, you will find some clues to the past of each girl, some in the way of puzzles that can only be solved by an specific girl or item. The more you walk into the forest, the more dark and scary it gets, and probably you will end up lost. If you do, a girl in white will come to play with you and help you get back into the path.
The more puzzles or discoveries you find, the more you know about the girls. But eventually, you will have to go to the path and go to the grandmother's house... and their ends will make more sense. Once you have picked all the girls, all the girls are selectable again from the main menu to start from where you left. And this is the chance to find something that maybe you missed.
Is not a game for children, that's for sure. Some events you may find in the game are not meant for them.
The graphics are not great, but they are special. The game has some good effects and a great sound. It also can be played with a gamepad (I used an Xbox 360 controller).
As for the question if is it good, that depends on who plays the game. As for me, I had fun, while it lasted. But it's a sad story. It has some nice moments, for example, when the kids do something unexpected, like playing with something in the forest or with the girl in white, or do stuff that child would do out of nowhere.
You can finish the game in an hour if you go directly to the house and nothing else, or can take hours to discover the secret places in the forest, which by the way, they are always at different places everytime you re-start.
