Oblivion once Shivering Isles was done and dusted, few months later they done a GOTY with Knights of the Nine, all the small bits of DLC like Horse Armor, Mehrunes Razor and the Isles expansion.

What they are doing here is essentially re releasing Skyrim with loads of extra stuff in it which is quite desirable if you like to collect, ideal Christmas Present for an avid Elder Scrolls fan.

I think by the end of next year latest after a HUGE expansion on par with Oblivions Isles they will release a fully fledged GOTY with everything in it.

While skyrim in itself isn't bad, it did suffer from even more streamlining and "Dumbing down" as well as being almost unplayable at launch due to bugs and issues

You are are definitely right about the fact that Skyrim has a lot of content but there are reasons (listed previously) as to why people are not in a hurry to give bethesda money

'dumbing down' and 'streamligning' is an opinion, not a fact... The bugs are a fact, but it is mostly sorted now. It was worth the asking price, and it still is.(not the DLC's though, still waiting for a major addon like Shivering Isles)

I think you need to look up the word "fact" in the dictionary. I had no issues what-so-ever at launch other than the mouse feeling like shit and I think the game is deeper and more rich with roleplaying decisions and depth than Oblivion ever was.

Dude, you're being insufferable. The perk system, for me, makes it the first TES to really have true roleplaying. Therefore it is deeper by default. You can prattle on about whatever else you want, but it's OPINION.
