lowyhong: Fenixp what did you think of St Lucia? Impressive wasn't it, especially with the way the creator made use of Doom 3's physics and lighting to carry forward some really cool ideas?
Heh, I love how can you use placement of light sources to precisely track movement of guards just by looking at their shadows. I've even placed a few candles here and there so I always know where someone is. The rest was graphics design - which was absolutely stunning, especially coupled with sound design. When I walked that dark alley for the first time, I was troughoutly impressed by the ammount of detail they've put into it.
And then I started discovering secret rooms, side passages, and... Well the entire level was big, and there were I think 3 or 4 ways to even get into the church. I disliked the placement of key leading into the sewers, had to look into a walktrough to find that, but the rest of that particular level was a professional work. Actually, when I look at how majority of professional work looks, I'm probably insulting this one.
