I'm visiting the Community Wishlist for the first time in ages, mostly to vote for Fallout games, and it seems that gog has not improved it after its revamp one bit. Apart from that, it is obvious that not many gog users know or remember that it exists because many great games, especially recent games, barely have a few hundred votes. I'm a bit surprised of gog not using it more. I always thought that it would be a great tool to convince IP holders to put their games here: "look, this many people could potentially buy your game outright". But looking at the numbers...
Maybe they are looking at its poor state and consider that it is not worth the effort, but there are a couple things that they could do and that require a marginal effort. First, clean it a little bit. No duplicate entries, no entries with multiple games, no expansions or special editions (games on gog tend to be the complete edition anyway). And second, make a monthly summary on the news section to bring awareness. Just mention some milestones here and there or some interesting new entries or maybe some "editor's favorites" from people working at gog. The content is irrelevant, it is just an excuse for the community to remember it and share some games they want votes for.
Speaking of which, you could aswell vote for World of Goo, , [url=http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/gone_home]Gone Home and the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series. Because, why not?
