Thank you GOG for reaching deep into my subconscious, digging around for awhile, and finding the gaming memories that I had so long ago forgotten.

GOG IS THE BEST!!!
I used to use Steam, mainly because I did not know that there were choices available. I never bought anything online from Steam as I felt that the copious amounts of personal information to make a simple five dollar purchase were fairly over the top.

I first found out about GOG while trying to find the perfect combination to get Blood working at an acceptable framerate on Dosbox. Lo and behold I kept finding mentions of a GOG that was selling a complete packaged version of Blood in an optimized will not take hours of my time plug and play bundle. I caved in, purchased it, and was impressed.

Months later, I keep coming back, and rarely use Steam unless it's for something that I already have, so that has something to say about the service. I try to direct others to GOG in the hopes that they'll spread the word as well.

If I complain, it's only because I care, and hope to see the best come out of what I already consider to be the most reliable option available. GOG may not make the best decisions all of the time, but they are in the process of evolving, and that involves trial and error.

So thanks GOG, for selling something that for once actually caters to both interest as well as convenience.

Tarm: Random post is random. Edit: Or should I say irrelevant post is irrelevant?

mondo84: Awesome post was awesome?
Oh yes. My post was perfection indeed. I'm glad you acknowledged it.

mondo84: I believe in GOG.
Have you accepted GOG as your personal savior?

If you do, when you die, GOG will give you a computer with every game ever made, with all the best mods, and all of them will work!

Do not turn to the "hot" one, for that is the way to a soul you can never own, but only rent!

I was too busy enjoying the awesomeness of my post.

The glorious one of course. I'll be hearing from the Nobel Price Committee soon. Now it's obvious that they should have given me the Literature Price.
But I don't mind. Everyone can't be perfect like me so I understand and forgive them for the mistake.
Steam sucks!

Titanium:
If Steam sucks (money) then GOG... gobbles?

Licurg: Steam sucks!
I fully disagree! It blows.

(Well, to be frank, not really anymore than most other digital DRM-sites. In fact among them it is still my favourite, for now.)
