I do kinda agree..

1: meh not interested.
2: have it, not a fan.
3: have it, haven't played it.
4: bleah, FPS.

Strange. I was under the impression that the GOG forum uses the exact same account as does the GOG game shelve.
Is that wrong, or did you just create a new account to post on the forum, for whatever reason?

I must say I'm really happy with the promo so far. Yes, most of the games I already bought, but that's the problem with good games and following gog for a long time. But this shows it's a really good mix. So far we had games from different genres (Adventure, RTS, Build-up strategy, FPS) and which are not only on the bottom of the bestseller list. Maybe Unreal is for 10$ overpriced, but looking around I pay the same price in € on other services. Now many folks have a chance to grab it. Gog is not steam, don't expect a sell out.

Edit: 14 summer gems to go, good chances that they hit at least one time the everyones taste.

Knights and Merchants was the reason I found GOG.

Yeah, they're pretty damn greedy. $9.99!? That's like the minimum wage for half an hour's work! We, the customers, made the companies big, so they should be paying us to play that Unreal and whatnot. They should also throw in more extras, and more money. My time is expensive, you know. I hope they feel the intensity of my fury and change their wicked ways.

I bet every game would sell more if they sold it at like... $2. I mean, come one, they'd probably sell like at least a million more copies of Battlefield 3 if they lowered the price to that. There's no reason other than greed (and the devil) to sell games at higher prices even if people would still buy them. Seriously, what the hell do they teach in all those business schools for all those years? I know so much better with common sense and stuff I came up with in the loo.

I'm not being serious, at all.

"Gems" might be a misrepresentation. Tbh the way I see it "hidden gems" = gogs that don't sell so well, for the most part. Personally I'm not holding my breath to catch some classics like PS:T for example at this promo. I mean come on, classics are not exactly hidden. I'm just hoping for some Ubisoft discounts, if we're on the subject of greedy. Way to many of their titles sit at 9.99$ and not all belong there imho.

We're getting both. This is a good summer for GOG.
