Ah, but you missed that pirating (ie. downloading a full, pirated, game (which you haven't even bought)), and downloading an alleged crack for any of your purchased Steam game(s) that will rip its DRM out completely, are not the same thing.
I have actually tried the latter as I kept hearing these claims that it is supposed to be very easy and simple. It was far more complicated than "just download a crack, solved", so complicated in fact that I decided to let it be.
That's not even counting the Steam games that have also third-party DRM on top of the Steam DRM, my experiment was specifically for Steam DRM.
