summitus: That makes no difference in this situation .. as far as the system knows I am him , I was logged in as him so thats irrelevant .
KOCollins: oh, if you wanted the answer to your problem, you probably just need to use CCleaner found here:

It will quite probably take care of your problem. However, I do not personally believe it to be okay to share games with a friend...I guess I could see sharing it with a son or wife or something, you know, same household....But, if everyone shared their GOG's freely with their buddys, well, GOG would have a much harder time staying afloat. Now I don't mean to say that I think you don't mean well, that you don't intend to buy these games, but, others, are not like that at all, I can assure you. I mean no offense so, please take none, I just wouldn't feel comfortable doing what you are doing myself, that is all.
No offense taken and as I already stated I always buy my own copys of games , hell I even own physical copies of most of my gog games , this is the first time I have tried this and even then it was friends suggestion as he is very thoughtful like that .
anyway I used ccleaner and it didn't stop the pop up , the pop up only stopped when I logged into the gog Downloader as my friend too.
summitus: What the fuck is that supposed to mean ? you buy it you own it you keep it ? whats stupid about that ?
Lexor: Purchasing game at gog you purchase it for your own use, not for giving your friends even just to try.
Ok fair enough , so I'd be better buy a boxed copy of the Witcher 2 and passing it on to all my friends when I have finished with it yes ?
and just too add that also means that gog is not then truly what it says it is ? I understand in my stupid brain as Wishbone so kindly pointed out to me that if some says you buy it you keep it you own it , that means I can basically do what the fuck I like with it .
