Wasn't Blood Omen 1 on the PS1 (course i probably can't easily & legally find it).
yes and so was soul reaver 1
soul reaver 1 is also on the dreamcast

the rest in the series are available on the ps2 and xbox
if you have a ps2 you can play the whole series on one machine

You're forgetting a bunch of other games that also have Tomb Raider in it, probably another 3 titles at least...

Although more confusing is which order the XBox consoles came out with in regards to their names.

Actually i have the PS1 version of Soul Reaver 1, but i played it on my computer back in the day when my computer was a 800Mhz system. Had a cool screen shot of him at his strongest with the fire blade. Although i did try the PS1 version, the framerate was too choppy.

the dc version is probably the best of the two consoles versions

last revelation is actually called 4

and underworl dis followed by the reboot and then there are two isometric games too

mortal kombat is also ....complicated

Huh wait what? Legacy of Kain?

Now i need to read through the thread in more detail. Maybe get someone to tell me what order to play the games in since i recall trying to play a few of them and either the mechanics or story-writing was bad and annoyed me (while the original soul-reaver was awesome)

I remember hearing apparently they messed up the storyline so they ended up permanently tying the two series together (Soul Reaver and Blood Omen), which i think is where defiance comes in.

its been a while since i played it but blood omen 2 feels more like the capstone fo the series and defiance the prequel to blood omen 2
