I always "love" stuff like this that goes "this and this is not enough, you have to do that and that!" when, if you were to combine all these tips, you'd basically spend your entire day making an effort to live the way you're "supposed" to without having a, you know, LIFE!
It's bullshit in that sense. We're not supposed to eat tinned meat, we're supposed to cook proper food (which takes a few hours every day), we're supposed to properly shave, wash, etc. ourselves, we have to chew every bite of food X times, we're supposed to wash our hands after every little thing, we're supposed to do all sorts of different activities to keep our body healthy, we're supposed to find some time to mentally relax and wind down to avoid stress, we're supposed, we're supposed, we're supposed .... of f**k off already. If I die at the age of 55 and I did it while having fun, I'll consider it a good life. If I'm to be a little whipped health freak like people who actually do the above, I'd have had a pathetic life.
Get this: hunters hunted not just for food but because it gave them satisfaction and status. Standing up and walking up and down stairs isn't going to be doing the same damn thing. Life no longer works like that - and we can't all become professional buff athletes or we'd all starve to death. Reality is that we NEED people who sit down all day and those who do manual labour don't get anywhere near the same respect as the hunters of old did. Most people who are respected these days, except for atlhetes, aren't those who work out a lot, but the thinkers, the smart ones, the talented ones (actors, comedians, etc.) so that's the way things have become. You can maybe use some of your time to stay fit, but to go beyond that and spend 4+ hours a day standing up while working on your PC? That's insane.
