I just gotta say one thing:

FUCK ME!

I bought this game and its DLC seperatly :(
Pre-ordered the game for £18 or something equally as cheap, beat it in a fortnight, never went back to it. No point buying the DLC until it goes sub-80% off on Steam.

And this is why I don't buy games with stupid amounts of DLC. Because they always release a full version.

Except for EA, but they're douches.

Worse, bought it on Xbox new

Its just that I though this game was gonna be those games that will not get a complete addition like Mass Effect and Dragon Age 2.

So did I.

Worth.every.dollar.

(Well, the DLCs apart from the big ones were forgettable, but THQ definitely deserved the money)

perhaps in a unlikly future i could sell my xbox version and aquire the steam one so I cann appreciate the mods. Does this game have any awsome mods by now?
I got it and all of its DLC for $12.50 together in a Steam sale. I'd say it was worth the money.

Yeah, on the last day of the Steam Summer Sale they sold Saints Row: The Third + all DLC at 87% off. Not sure if that pricing was a mistake, but I also got the full package for ~ $12.

Pretty much the norm for mainstream releases these days/

Original release
DLC
More DLC
GOTY edition
More DLC
Complete/Ultimate Edition
...

I'm exaggerating, but you get the idea.
I have paid $15 for all of that. Fuck you indeed.
Fun game, though a lot of the DLC is mostly re-skins or simply cheat options so you arn't missing much.

The story based DLC was fun the first play threw but you can't bring abilities or weapons from it into the main game, just maybe some vehicles and a few phone contacts.
Le sigh. Wish they'd release a Collector's Ed for the PC instead.

Cases like this are why I'm not even going to look at getting Borderlands 2 until late next year. The game has 4 DLC expansions planned that they pre-sold as a pack, plus more DLC not covered in it that costs extra. When the total price of a console game is more than what previous generation consoles themselves cost at this point in their lifespans, something is going wrong.

You mean with a novelty giant, purple dildo bat in the box?:)

Except the base game is fucking awesome all by itself and co-op mode is part of the draw.

I was thinking more like a remote control.
