you know, you can always choose to ignore those sequels/prequels and never see them in theatres or spend money on dvd's/BR, that way maybe they'll understand that making sequels of films that don't need sequels (blade runner) or making prequels of films that don't need prequels (alien) is not so viable.
And maybe they'll stop? Who knows...

Considering that PS:T had the infinity engine and looked superficially like Baldurs Gate, I don't see why the greatness shouldn't also be achieved with a setting equally bad suited for good RPGs.

The worst. Kills immersion like some guy selling DLCs ingame. Especially if it is derived from a failed RTS.

Iso perspective in RPG's isn't derived from RTS, it's derived from the overhead perspective first used in early C64 roguelikes and Ultima. That kind of perspective is necessary for tactical placement of party members in battles, immersion should always be a secondary consideration when we are talking about games.
