SirPrimalform: The guy who bought Alan Wake on the other hand didn't bother to do any research before buying the game. You can't assume what applies to some places applies to others and should research the specific version you plan to buy and the place you plan to buy it from.

all places. Should you asked at a pizza place that only served low carb burgers if the burgers come with a bun? This was a game that
needed Steam at any store where you could buy it.
Especially as DRM is a relative term and Steam clearly states it is not a DRM I would say (now in retrospective, I had a different opinion back then) that the information on the store page was easily misinterpreted.
