Executer: It is nice, does there is a tiny light about the whole EA and no Goodies / Expansion issues.
But on the other side i somehow feel sad because overall after 3 Months there still wasn't any real official statement about the issue from GOG. Only some scattered hints/posts buried in various threads.
There has been two different coalitions in the forum..
The one side complains and criticizes about the lack of Goodies/expansions.
The other doesn't see any problem at all or even criticizes the people who see a problem.
IF EA didn't even knew about the "issue" there is/was much going wrong.
So i beg for a better information policy from the side of GOG. And maybe think about how GOG could optimize their way of receiving and handling customer requests/critics.
And some people (yes i mean those: "oh noo.. not AGAIN" "stfu or EA will be scared" and "be happy with what u got" people..) maybe change their POV at least a little bit.
I hope there is also a chance too for seeing SMAC: Alien Crossfire...
I think it's unrealistic to expect GOG to tell us everything that is going on behind the scenes.
Honestly, they don't owe us that... not at all.
Likely what would happen is GOG would make a promise to the community, then some publisher would pull out of the tentative agreement or there would be some kind of unpredicted problem. Then what? There will be riots on the forums about GOG "lying", "not trying hard enough", etc.
Hell, there already ARE threads about GOG "not trying", so can you imagine how bad it would get around here?
