Fifeldor: I ordered a used XBOX for my little brother from some guy last week, it came on Friday. Unfortunately I don't have a TV here, and I never had an XBOX, so I just turned it on to see if it actually works. The disc tray did not open however, and I contacted the seller, who gave me an address to send it back as a defective item and I sent it on Saturday.
He contacted me again today and said that he received it, he tried it out and the tray opens by keeping the button pressed and that he can give me my refund but not cover the shipping costs I payed to send it back. My brother still wants the XBOX, so I'm torn between what to do. I'll probably order something else from him to partly pay the new sipping costs and cover the costs I incurred.
if it requires being held down it's a faulty connection and as such broken it's up to you if you want to argue it with him though
