I bought Witcher 1 from D2D a year or two ago. I was just thinking of "redeeming" it on GOG since that feature has been added. But there's a problem. I can't find my D2D purchase history on Gamefly's site, and I can't find any order details in my email for any of my D2D purchases.

Are these just gone now? Or is there a section on the Gamefly site I'm missing?

Did you migrate your account properly via the link they sent to previous customers? I have most of my purchase history available in GameFly after the transition, though some games are not yet available [which, honestly, pisses me off and is a huge example of the detriments of digital purchases :/]. I did not check to see if TW 1 was one of the games not available yet, I will in a little bit and get back to you.

Also, be aware that there may be an issue redeeming your key anyway - you might have to go through the purchase verification routine [on the witcher site] in order to get a new GoG compatible key [I have to apparently, the redeem function won't accept my old D2D key].

I didn't do any link. I read the email they sent late last year where they claimed they'd do it automatically. Guess I shouldn't have trusted that, huh?
Try using this link: http://www.gamefly.com/activity/purchase-history/d2ddownloads/1/
It says my account isn't eligible. :(

Hmmm....have you tried resetting your password?

Hrm - I could have sworn I had to click a link; I could be mistaking a different migration though [so many sites/companies have merged in the past few years].

When you log in via your D2D information it should have your purchase history - the first time it should prompt you [if I remember] to create a Gamefly account importing the D2D data.

You might want to contact Gamefly customer support and see if they can help you.

Yeah. It's the same email from my D2D account, so I guess my games are just poofed.

Did you try e-mailing their support team? I remember reading back when they switched over that they were working on bringing games over, but people should back up their games in case of any "issues."

I haven't, but I can't find the emails from my purchases. Without those, I have no order numbers to reference.

I don't know where those could be. I have plenty of Gamefly/Direct2Drive emails, but I can't find a single one about an order. I bought Witcher, Magicka, Din's Curse, King's Bounty Armored Princess, and a few others there. I can't find a single order history.

Unfortunately backing up DRM'd games doesn't matter. It seems that many of the activation URLs were discontinued and you need to redownload the new installers from GameFly - catch 22 is that some of the games are not yet available :/ [For Example: CSI Dark Motives, activation doesn't work on my "backup" copy I downloaded prior to the transition, and GameFly doesn't have it available]
I got it. For some reason the orders were sent to the email I used in 2007 for GameFly. I have absolutely no idea why.

Ah, they might have merged your D2D account with your GameFly account [people w/o a GameFly account had to merge their D2D account w/ a new GameFly account]
