FiatLux: Since GMT stands for "Greenwich Mean Time" then what time do they use locally in the Greenwich district of London then ? GMT or BST ?
;-)
avatar
bazilisek: As spindown says, GMT in winter, BST in summer. The terminology is admittedly stupid, but it isn't that hard to understand.

I just wish this whole DST nonsense was stopped already.
Thanks ! ;-)

ButI I were rather merely just "joking around" ;-)

(you know since the area of Greenwich is in Britain so it is both like a part of a name of a standard and an actual physical area)

Crosmando: I rather like Daylight Savings, I prefer it being dark around dinner-ish time, it's more fitting, also I seem to get into the "game time" mood when it's dark and it gives me more time.
Actually , when switching time here (DST) last time, they published (or referenced to) a study saying that the time switching stressed a lot of people so much that it were cause to a higher rates of heart attacks/strokes , I think it were...

P.S.
Also they had a piece about a local guy who refused to "observe DST" so his clock were not set forth and back when others did do the DST , so he would have to compensate everytime that he had an appointment. I am not sure but I think that the guy also met at diffenrent time at his work than others when they "observed DST" so he were like "living in his own time" ! ;-)

TheEnigmaticT: The game will be released at 17:00 GMT on the 11th (which is 19:00 Warsaw Time, 13:00 EDT, and, um, 10:00 PDT)?

Oh, heck. Timezones are confusing. For clarity: We're releasing at the same time as the awesome guys at Almost Human and Steam. Simultaneous worldwide release, baby!
Ah, you mean 14:00 here in Brazil. Enough time for a good lunch.
It's good news about the LOG release. Two hours until I have access (here).

Ah! , yes! , "Jethro Tull".... Haven't even heard the name for ages , goes with names like "Uriah Heep" and "SteppenWolf" , I never were very fond of either but either anyway had songs/"tracks" that I liked... I don't think that I have ever heard any of them on anything but Vinyl or on the radio in times past... (Haven't got speakers connected to this particular PC presently)
The game is released now on Steam..
