Have you guys ever thought about incorporating "Populous the Begining" into your repertoir of awesome games?
You'll probably see it soon, now that GOG is releasing Bullfrog games.

I hope we see Theme Hospital first. Though knowing GoG, it'll probably be the DOS version rather than the windows one. They're lazy like that.

I'd like to second this request! Populous the Beginning was a great game, I would pay good money to play it again.
Ahh, I love Populous! I have both of them already (The Beginning and Undiscovered Worlds) but I'm having major difficulty getting them to run :/
Also, I'd love to see what goodies they come with :D

And I second Theme Hospital, I never really played it properly so I'd love to play some more of it.

Given that for games that came out for both DOS and Windows, the Windows version they were made for was Win95, and taking into consideration the ridiculous ease of emulating DOS on modern systems, and conversely the near (or in many cases complete) impossibility of getting many Win95 games to run on modern systems at all, the real question becomes "do you want to play this game or not?"

You can call them lazy if you want, but it's not really fair.

You're not sucessful at running a company if nobody is bashing you or calling you lazy.

Also, it can be considered lazyness of sorts. For DOS games it's just throwing them into DOSbox, whereas emulating win95 is harder... But win95 versions of games are generally better. And it IS possible to emulate win95 without hiccups, though I believe GOG might need a deal with Microsoft to get that done due to a proprietary kernel and whatnot.

Dude, taking 5 months to reply to his post... seems a little lazy.

Hehe, in my defense, the topic was necro'd before I posted.

All right, then let's say that it's impossible to get it running profitably. GOG has to make money you know.
