Tizzysawr: Though knowing GoG, it'll probably be the DOS version rather than the windows one. They're lazy like that.
Wishbone: Given that for games that came out for both DOS and Windows, the Windows version they were made for was Win95, and taking into consideration the ridiculous ease of emulating DOS on modern systems, and conversely the near (or in many cases complete) impossibility of getting many Win95 games to run on modern systems at all, the real question becomes "do you want to play this game or not?"
You can call them lazy if you want, but it's not really fair.
You're not sucessful at running a company if nobody is bashing you or calling you lazy.
Also, it can be considered lazyness of sorts. For DOS games it's just throwing them into DOSbox, whereas emulating win95 is harder... But win95 versions of games are generally better. And it IS possible to emulate win95 without hiccups, though I believe GOG might need a deal with Microsoft to get that done due to a proprietary kernel and whatnot.
