After the success of Tim Shaffer´s new campaign many new projects appeared, many of them deserve some interest, but probably one of the most ignored and also awesome in every detail related to it is Rob Swigart's Portal Reborn, a project based on an amazing and well sci fi game from 1986. I played the amiga version using winUAE (sorry I can´t write here links to illegal stuff) and I must say it got me thrilled. The story is great and you get easily into the trama. It´s really hard to see such good stories in actual games. The original game concept was very closed to a visual novel game concept. Anyway the videos they seem to be preparing modern 3d scenarios for the game, more related to the adventure concept and it the idea seems to be taken with seriousness (the original writer in involved in the game) and love.

This is a nice and fair review on the original game

Just remember some things about kickstarter (I won´t say crowdfounding as long as some of the webs don´t follow these rules)
1 They only charge your donation if the founding goal is achieved, so if it fails you don´t loose your money.
2 It´s the only way to make some projects which are not supported by some big studios
3 It stablish a fair and correct relationship between creators and public, not only in games, but also with the cultural industry in general.
Thanks for reading this :-)
