I would totally watch an Aquaman movie. I never understood how he became the laughing stock of superheroes.

Also, a movie based on the Question would rock my world. He was my favorite in the JLU show.

You know it's true.

Sorry everybody, me saying that blind people not knowing how to make a facial expression was actually just sarcasm in relation to Ben Affleks abbhorrent lack of range as an actor. It was a joke that misfired.

But my thoughts on Ledger-Joker and an Aquaman movie are 100% serious.
Ben Assfleck, a superhero in his own right, why does he needs to be batman

The Question is an awsome DC character. I think the whole Trinity of Sin universe is very interesting, though it's not really right for a movie. Maybe an AMC style TV series would work better there.
Someone actually posted a petition on the US White House's website to ban Ben Affleck from playing Batman or any other super hero for the next 200 years. It was removed from the website by site moderators.
I take it the 200 year limit was to account for the possibility that he is a Vampire or some other immortal creature.

Posted a new thread, but it belongs here.
don't care about no paid actor to lie
when i know he never did anything but talk in his life and having a stunt double to do weird stuff for him

Giggity
I'm not worried about Ben Affleck, the bigger worry is Frank Millers possible involvement. That hack will just turn the movie into another one of his jizz stained love letters to batman at the expense of every other character around him.
Way to make me like DC less... I'm one of the few that doesn't like Bale as Batman and now this. argh.

Gonchi: I don't hate Mr. Affleck. I don't know him as a person, and he may be the nicest guy around. I don't dislike him as a person. However, after what he did with Daredevil, the idea of him playing my favorite comics character of all time is distressing.

I thought the performance was quite okay. But then again, I'm not familiar with the Daredevil comics, so I might have no idea how he was *supposed* to be.

Stevedog13: I'm going to make a very unpopular comment here.

I thought Ben Afflek was better as Daredevil than Heath Ledger was as the Joker.

Now let me explain, Heath Ledger was a great villian in the movie. His expressions and manerisims really sold me on just how twisted and dark the character was. Ledger, being the great actor he was, gave an absolutley stellar performance. But I never felt like I was seeing the Joker. The Joker is the Clown Prince of Crime and the arch foil of the Worlds Greatest Detective. He is not a simple anarchist who lick his lips constantly. As for Daredevil, well he is blind right? That means that he doesn't know what a facial expression is supposed to look like. Which is why you need an incredibly wooden actor to play him, enter Ben Afflek.
Still, I wouldn't go this far :D And concerning the facial expressions, look back at what keeveek said.
I think Affleck can do it just fine. I'm not worried by that.

About the little Joker Offtopic: While I like Hedger as a villian the best onscreen Joker performance IMO goes to the guy in there: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mH2c2dtzIMg (its english, the ..portugese(?) is just the subtitles).

I... don't remember writing that.
I was gutted about the news. Those across the pond, or indeed probably in many other countries will not understand that Ben Affleck was pigeon holed for the upcoming Bananaman movie. For which I think everyone will agree he is more than qualified for.
