hedwards: Yes, they can generate it, the problem though isn't generating it, the problem is that in much of America the net connections suck. At it's best the detail is pretty similar to what I'm getting with my 9400 GT.

detail has nothing to do with "net connection." A 720p video of Crysis on Low and a 720p video of Crysis on Very High with 32xAA will have the same amount of bandwidth.
Not true. That depends heavily upon the compression applied to the image. And onLive adjusts that as you play to try and give the highest possible quality.
Trust me on it, sometimes the quality is superb and other times it's not even playable. Fortunately that's not often the case and it usually adjusts soon after. If what you were saying is correct that wouldn't be the case.
EDIT: On further thought I see what you mean. What I meant was that you can't make out the details. They may or may not be there, but I can't see them. And seeing them is really the point of the person's question.
