Figured I'd post this here, too. If you missed out on the sale today have a copy of Bordelands GOTY edition that I would be willing to trade for a GOG or two.
I had planned on buying the SFI pack and if I had the cash in my bank account yesterday I would have made a snap decision and pounced. After looking over the games in it and asking myself "Will I REALLY play all these games? Am I interested in all these games?" I decided the answer was "No" so I'm not going to get it. I would have had 24 or so games I would never play in my library.

I want to get the most bang for my buck while enjoying and playing the majority of the games and I'm leaning toward getting the Meridian 4 Complete Pack. I tend to like rpg games the most with a dash of puzzles, platformers, mystery, and racing games. What do you guys think is this pack worth $34.99? Has it been on sale for cheaper before? Should I just wait and save my money until the last day to see what other packs will go on sale?

CowboyBebop: Stuff
Honestly, while I haven't played most of the games, it looks like a pretty good deal. I have heard good things about a lot of those games. If they seem like something you would be into, I would go for it. Also $34 dollars isn't a huge waste if you don't end up liking all of the games.

This is exactly what is going through my head currently regarding the 2k package. Borderlands, Mafia 1/2, Bioshock 1/2, and Civ 4/5 seem like they would be worth more than $80 even without all the other games I may never play. I am pretty sure I'd play at least half of them, at any rate. Unless someone tells me convincingly (not a challenge, just a fact, at this point) that the Bioshock games and the Mafia games are piss poor, I'll probably buy the package in a week or so. Sale or no sale, I can get Civ 4/5 and Borderlands for cheaper than $80, and those are the main games I wanted to try.

Foxhack: That means it's been region restricted in Australia. Even -I- can see the full discount, which is odd since Rockstar hates Mexico.

I'm currently waffling between KOTOR and Battlefront II. Any advice on those?

Alfie3000: aaawww man would be the only thing i'd get from todays deals.
If you have PayPal I (or someone else) can gift them to ya!

I can give you Borderlands GOTY edition for the price of two 5.99 GOGs. I got gifted a copy and it turns out my computer cant run it.

Yeah, I saw your other posts (at least, I am assuming those were yours without rechecking). If I don't buy the package, I may take you up on the offer. I am going to mull it over, so don't hold the game on my account (not that you needed my permission, but I figured I would give it anyway for good measure ;)).

... Even my piece of crap computer can run Borderlands (at the lowest settings)! What hardware do you have?

It's a laptop with a 2.2 Ghz procecessor and a low-end graphics card. My friend has the exact same laptop and when I tried it on his comp, while it did run, everything was laggy.

Yeah, sure. So far, you're the only one who has even seemed remotely interested. I'm leaving for the weekend so I won't be keeping that thread up so chances no one will notice/care. If you don't see it and are still interested, PM me.

It's strange. I used to be all about the graphically-intensive powerhouse games on the PC, but then I got a console. Now the only sorts of games that interest me on PC are the crazy variety that you would never find on a console, or cheap FPS titles (or any game made by Valve. I'll upgrade my computer when they release a new engine). That's the only way I can explain why Railworks 2 is somehow attracting my attention. I'm caught like a deer in headlights. I don't know whether I'd love it or hate it, and $8 is certainly tempting.

I've heard good things from people who enjoy trains.

Well its only $350 for everything Railworks 2 right now! For about the price of all the other super packs on sale right now you can command trains all over the world!

(Lame sarcasm not intended as a criticism or complement for the game)
Spectromancer is £3.74 for the base game and both its expansions. Its kind of like magic the gathering in that its a card game based around mana and creatures/spells.

The mechanics are a bit different as you have 6 slots for your troops and 6 for the enemy above yours and you face off against the creature above your own slot. Any damage that doesn't hit a creature will attack the enemy wizard. Theres a demo of it about that gives you a good idea what the game is, if anyone is intrested.

I like Spectromancer a lot but you should keep in mind that the game is really only fun if you want to play the game in multiplayer. The singleplayer options are pretty short-lived and although you can experiment with the different classes, they're not significantly different from one another.
