GameRager: I hope I didn't come off as sounding rude......just making an observation, is all. It's just something I noticed happens here sometimes. :)
Not at all, you can't hurt me, at least physically. =)
I myself don't usually make threads, unless I'm drunk and then they usually suck and I'd like to forget about them and mostly people know not to answer me even when I'm sober. =)
BTW has anyone else here bought a game one already owned from another(or even the same) site because they forgot they owned it already? I have once or twice.
these games won't buy themselves ....
Good thing that I don't have hundreds of games, maybe 99, so I did remember that I already had Syberias in Dotemu, reminds me that I should play those.
I used to suffer from this problem, Unemployement solved it. Once I get back working I doubt I will buy games like I used too.

I have unplayed retail-bought games(PC, XBOX/360, PS1/2/3, DS, PSP), several GOG titles, several Steam titles, et al.....plus a few games on other minor sites(GG/Amazon/etc). And that's not counting all the games I started but never finished for some reason or other.

Funny or not, easy access to free internet porn deviates sexual drive in most adults. It causes tons of problems, we already have many 25-30 year old impotents.

Mostly, because for your brain, having sex with the same woman is less attractive than watching 10 porn clips in 20 minutes with different woman, different positions, etc etc.

It's not easy to measure how destructive for potency and sexuality in general internet porn is, because it's hard to find subjects that haven't seen any porn, for control group :P

You act like having sex with the same woman forever was attractive before the advent of internet porn. And not waking up some morning, looking at her, and saying, "Why don't you go home?!?".

*laugh*

To the OP: I've got a...problem...when it comes to games and dvds. I have more than I'll ever reasonably play or watch. However, with the physical items, so long as I have a machine that can run them, I can use them, whether it's now or 30 years from now. I don't envy the poor bastard that'll be sorting through my stuff when I die though. :/

There are some places that I would have never knew if I wouldn't read this forum. Usually some free game or something makes me sign in. I do have notebook (like paper thing) where I scribble some passwords.

But many times I think "that's kinda cheap, can I afford it.. oh right, I probably should check if I do have it already."
And some games just suck so why finish them? You can always buy more. =) The main thing in this sale was that I finally bought Risen 2 and died several times. (side note)

And You have all those gaming machines? That's some ball of cords.

It was definitely more attractive than masturbation, and access to other sources of dopamine was limited, compared to today.

There is a reason why sexual problems get more and more common these days and occure earlier than any time before. Recent studies show, that internet porn may be the prime cause.

Believe it or not, I don't give a damn ;P Btw. this internet porn subject may seem to be offtopic or irrelevant, but it's connected.

You forget the fact that people are simply more open nowadays about their problems. People are more willing to study it and talk about it. A guy in previous generations admitting that he can't get it up? A bit more unthinkable than it is now.

There may be correlation, but correlation does not equal causation. There's other factors that could influence sexual dysfunction including diet, stress, drugs, etc. All things that are doing a number on us (diet being absolute garbage, people under far too much stress, the plethora of drugs - both legal and not - that people take).

People also may just simply have more options to discover what they actually like. It may have been that they used to just deal and accept that they may not find that person that shares their same interest, bedroom wise. With the advent of the internet, they know that they can have a much easier time finding someone that shares their same fetish. No more needing to hide what you like since there will almost always be someone else that likes it as well.

GameRager: Kinda offtopic, but: Why is it so many(imo) GOGgers make threads then leave without replying to anyone who replies in them? 0.o
I actually went and used my remaining money to buy Christmas presents, and then played X-Com. I figured I'd better buy presents before I burn all my money on games I'll never play.

True, but I am happy/lucky to have them given my limited income(Most were bought for me by relatives/friends, for which I owe them my thanks.).
Oh, I've found the lecture:

Interesting thing, I recommend listening to that.

Yes. But studies show, that men who drop watching porn for more than few months, vastly improve their sexual life. Watch the vid.
