I have searched and searched and have not been able to find a multiplayer game for Baldurs Gate Tales of The Sword Coast
You're in the right place on GoG.

I really haven't played multi-player anything, myself, in a very long time but if this topic slips, keep bumping it - because there are a lot of old gamers here and most of them have BG and, more than likely, are looking for players to start a campaign with.

Good luck in getting it to run in GameRanger. =)

Haha! Games Ahoy!
The thing is, multiplayer in Baldur's Gate was always an afterthought. Most people who play it have never used the multi, and some aren't even aware it exists.

While it can fun to play a coop campaign with friends, it's a bit boring for people who aren't playing the main character since they don't take part in dialog. Plus it's much more difficult to organize a multi campaign for BG than a solo playthrough, since the game is long and odds are the players won't often have free time at the same time.
Add the fact that many people actually like the NPCs you can add to your group, and it's no wonder people prefer to play solo.

Personally, I only played a BG multiplayer campaign once and that was to test out BGT with 3 other RL friends during summer holidays. I don't really have any interest in doing it again.

Yeah. But I'm willing to not be the Main Character as long as I can import my Fighter.
I'm trying to think of modern day multiplayer games that are system resource lite, make good use of D&D rules and don't require you to keep pulling out a credit card to purchase in game items and currency.

Everyone had high hopes for NeverWinter Nights 2 but i've heard the game has some pretty massive technical issues - also, depending on how old your PC is, the reqs for NWN 2 pretty much scrape along the maximum of what i can run on my eight year old Presario.

DDO was fun. Even the Monk class was worth trying.

DDO looks cool but I hate having to keep paying for a game and never quite owning it.

I really love the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series and the best version of Romance is the online version but if you didn't keep whipping out a credit card to purchase in game currency you couldn't level up your kingdom quick enough to defend it from other players.

Kind of like carnival games where they keep fishing bucks out of you to get the hoop around that fifty cent stuffed animal for your girly.

Lol. You don't have to pay for DDO. :) Its Free to play. You can pay for additional features, but they don't change anything.

So if I never pay for points, it won't affect game play any in DDO?

In RotTK if you didn't pay for currency you got your kingdom wiped out.

You don't get all the clases(You miss out on one) and a few races like Warforged, Half-Orc/Elf and thats about it. A Few quests.

But you get nearly everything. And you can earn Drow, Favored Soul and a few other things in the game
Too busy playing Knights of the Chalice.
