It's funny to then see PS3 games are the best selling games on consoles in Poland at the same time where hardly anybody owns PS3 and almost everybody have X360.
"Easy to pirate" is Microsoft's secret catchphrase since MS-DOS.
by the way, once again about PSX - when I had it as a kid, I remember cracking the console was pretty easy, but burning the games? Not so much. You had to burn them in 4X speed at max, and even if you did that, there was a possibility the console won't read it, will freeze all the time, sometimes you had to put in the disc several times for console to even recognize it etc etc.
Piracy on PS2 for first few years hardly existed as well - mostly to what jamyskis said - DVD burners and discs were expensive.
