I'm not saying they should stop making Call of Duty and Game for Bros 5. I'm saying that instead of making a Pony Adventure For Girls or "oh god how did this game get funded", they'd make a game that's actually for women or at least made without forgetting 'em and is an actually serious game. Something like that happens every now and then, but as it is now, the statistics are self-perpetuating.

Don't people constantly ignore good deals because they have preconceptions (I have this notion that they do, but no proof)? Do you really think that taking women into consideration would lower the sales from gazillion to gorillion? How many sales would fantasy games lose if the women wore real armor in 'em, for starters? I can't bring myself to think it'd be a lot, but maybe I'm an optimist.

It's amusing in small amounts, but it has long since past the point where I'm just ashamed to share a hobby with these insecure and irrational knob-ends.

I really do find the toxic attitudes in Multiplayer games really sad. I tend to avoid them altogether and stick to single player. Sexist Harassment needs to stop but also Harassment in general. But it is true that women don't advertise their gender and sadly for good reason. Though most guys aren't bad, it's a few bad apples that spoil the bunch.

Depends on the game, I think. When I was playing Day of defeat on Polish server, I was the youngest guy there (I'm 24yo), and every women that very rarely visited the server was treated with respect.
