You won't regret it Carra, believe me! ( :

michaelleung: This is my opinion, and I'll stick by it. I never really did enjoy adventure games, with the exception of Monkey Island and some others.

This ranks up there with those, maybe higher. I don't know anyone who doesn't like it.

I could never get into any P&C type games at all. Just not my type of game.
i love love love this whole series! i lived on it growing up! i wanted everyman to be like tex!..... looking back, a failing alcoholic who lives in a dive, is probably not the best role model and would explain choices on men! but i love him all the same! , the only problem was the lineage was confusing i never got to play pandora but at the end of overseer it mentioned pandorra was next but was it actual before??/
@effodoom: You sound really confused, mate!
Anyway, for Wishbone and Carra: Just buy Under a Killing Moon, and if after playing it for a while you still find it a waste of time and money, I will buy you another game.
Yes, I'm that sure of UAKM's quality.
(Though Pandora is much better...)
I almost had a heart attack when I saw this piece of news. I bought Overseer just recently for about $20 but couldn't make it work. I thought I'd never be able to play the game, but now I just have to wait for a bit longer. I'm so happy that I don't mind it at all that I wasted money on a physical copy.
Under a Killing Moon is one of the best games I have ever played in my life. It's definitely worth the price because the game is long (if you don't use hints or walkthroughs, it will probably take quite a while to complete), it has a great and intriguing plot, interesting characters, dialogue and tons of funny little details that make the experience rich. For example, I love reading the random articles in the newspaper you find early on in the game.
UAKM may not be everyone's cup of tea, but if you like a good story, tongue in cheek play with clichés and games that require you to think a little, give it a try!
Just noticed Microsoft has a real classy site dedicated to the series: http://www.microsoft.com/games/texmurphy/overseer/default.htm
Guess they are fans. ;)

Well maybe, it could also be that they bought Access in 1999.

I downloaded it, and have no problems playing it at all. ( :
Hey, i got all tree games on cd, i love the games, one of the best games ever and a mile stone in gamedevelopment.
I am used to use all kind of workarounds to get these games to work under XP/Vista, will this work right out of the box or is it just the same old steps when im playing from CD?
The goal is to have them work "right out of the box" as you mentioned. I don't have any of them, so I can't say for myself how well they do/don't work.
I am in no way over-stating when I say that the Pandora Directive was one of my most favorite games of all time, and when I later got the chance to play Under a Killing Moon I loved it just as much. Thanks so much for bringing these games out!
I never got a chance to play Overseer, which I've always been disappointed by, so you better believe I can wait for that one to get on here as well.
Awesome!
