Combining a great story, impressive cinematics, detailed graphics and an interesting, believable mystery, Still Life is a great example of how the adventure game genre still has a lot to offer, even in the age of shooters and slashers.
Still Life is a point-and-click adventure game centered around a mysterious serial murder case. Expect some actual investigative work, not pixel-hunting and combining a toothbrush, tweezers and a sponge in order to open a tuna can. You'll be looking for evidence, using fancy equipment such as dark-light filters, collecting samples, piecing clues together with your colleagues... Then you'll relive an investigation into a seemingly identical case, which took place 80 years ago. If you like adventure games, you can't go wrong with this one. But if you enjoy a good mystery as well, you're bound to fall in love with Still Life.
