Always wanted to play this one!
Even though i have them both in multiple versions already, there's no way i can pass on the chance of having them on my shelf.
That's a Sold on both Riven and Myst. Thanks guys.
I am however a little disappointed that there are no extras for them :(

Many MYST fans say Riven is their favorite in the series. It isnt my favorite (it was soonafter overshadowed by Revelation), but I absolutely remember this game fondly. The submarine puzzle was a bit difficult :p!
Riven was always by far my favorite of the Myst series -- so incredibly engrossing. It's also the hardest imo, too.
Please bring Exile to GOG, then I can get rid of my Myst Trilogy box!!
I'm totally indifferent about Revelation, as I found that one quite boring and not up to par with the previous 3 :(
better than myst for sure. i will definitely be getting this one.
The nostalgia continues. I probably didn't get far playing this as a kid, but i sure remember the great atmosphere, putting it on my list for future purchases. ^^
Way to round out the year (release wise).
Riven is one of my favorite games of all time and I'm happy to see it enter the library, especially because the schmuck I loaned my one and only beloved copy to never returned it.
I hope you are planning some decent extras for the Cyan games. I recall a pretty spectacular design map of the entirety of Riven that you might be able to hunt down. A soundtrack would be nice but I already own both the Myst and Riven soundtracks.
But still, I'm just happy you have these games now as they were the ones I was looking forward to getting from GOG. Now if only I hadn't blown all my money on Black Friday sales.

I love Revelation: It truly felt alive to me, on an aesthetic and textile level. I thought the story was excellent, a great way to finish the saga (I really dont like End of Ages). The puzzles were incredibly hard, especially the very last one. Revelation had my attention from that monorail car ride to the very end.
This does not devalue or disparage Riven, which I thought was beautiful in every aspect, and its world rich with mysterious life. Only once did we see what its inhabitants looked like (those small spherical houses above the submarine puzzle), if we were lucky, and it only added to our interest. I love that we could never understood what the people we saw told us, as though we were truly alien in every respect, and this gave way to fear, and not knowing who was there to help, or who was working for Gehn. In every respect, Riven was a sequel that built upon and expanded the original, almost overshadowing it completely.

Wolfox: "Last release this year"? Noooooooooooooooooooo... *sigh*
Anyway, nice release. Not my cup of tea, but definitely a classic.

GOG will make it up to you soon, I assure you.

Hey Wolfox, it may be sooner than we think... just look at the promo in the front page, it says: "The promotion ends on Sunday, December 20 at 11:59 p.m. EDT". The others ended on mondays...
So, it may be the first time in the year that you guys will enjoy a monday day, Dec 21, and the last time too... last, if GOG doesn't show up another good monday on 28. ;)

I look forward for any surprises - coming from GOG, I know they will be good, whatever they are - but there will be no more releases this year, according to GOG. So, no more releases until next year - and I'm fine with that; the GOG staff deserve their rest, after all!
Looking forward to what new (old?) releases 2010 will bring. Here's hope some big names join the catalog soon. ;-)
