JacobNZ: Quick question, do you guys buy every game released just because its gog? I mean how can you play suchjaded graphics with basic and slow gameplay?
You must be too young to appreciate this stuff, is all. Myself, I was 13 when I started playing my most favorite RPG of all times, Ultima VII (circa '95). I'll understand if you don't like Ultima VII if, when you were 13, you were playing the likes of Neverwinter Nights or Knights of the Old Republic in the early 2000's. Me, having grown playing the early nineties, do you think I have the right to mind the graphics of World of Xeen? I think not.
If you have a true passion for the games of your youth, don't count on sharing that passion with the people who were born ten years after you...
ajvitaly: This isn't still being worked on, is it? It'd be great if it was, but I don't have much hope.
I would be really, really happy if a new party-based, first person perspective Might and Magic RPG was released. Dark Messiah wasn't that fun for me. I wonder if Ubisoft is doing anything else with the license....
JudasIscariot: Well you can cruise over to their
website and see for yourself :D
I really LOVE old-school game development, but seriously, do you think this has any chance of ever seeing the light of day? I can't think of a single project like this that went on to be complete, at least none worth playing. The more daring the project, the less chance you'll ever play even a demo of the game. I really WISH the scenario was much better, but are these guys any hotter than those fiddling with the Fallout engine, with RPG Maker, Game Maker and others?
