A great example of what can happen if devoted fans work together, has just hit the shelves on GOG.com.
The idea behind [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/jagged_alliance_2_wildfire]Jagged Alliance 2: Wildfire's creation was for a group of fans to make a more realistic, better Jagged Alliance 2, and it's hard not to give them credit for doing just that. The game itself is a 2D , isometric view [url=http://www.gog.com/en/search/sort/search/strategy]strategy with some elements. The plot is similar to that of the [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/jagged_alliance_2]original, yours being the second team sent to liberate Arulco. The gameplay became a lot more realistic and the difficulty went up, with the enemies wearing body armor and carrying rifles or shotguns right from the start, not to mention having an overall improved AI. A definite must-have for any Jagged Alliance series fan, not just the die-hard, hardcore ones.
