Luomu: And lots of respect to Ravenger! Too bad you probably won't get anything from this release, but I'm sure you are already a millionaire for working on such a popular series ;)
If only... It was moderately successful but never sold megabucks, so you can safely assume I'm not a millionaire!
Yes, I won't be getting a penny out of this release, but you know what? I'm just happy for the game to be on sale again. I didn't enter the games business to make money, I did it because I want people to play and enjoy the games I made. I get a kick out of seeing stuff I've worked on in the shops and for sale online. But of course making money while doing it is necessary too. :-)
And always remember that I was only one of a number of people who worked on I-War, so I can't take credit for the series. Main credit must go to Michael Powell and Glyn Williams who designed the original game and their team who made the original I-War release: Rich Aidley, Andy Turner, Matt Clark and Michael Todd. I joined them just in time for the US release and did some work helping getting the game upgraded for the US market.
For the Deluxe edition I was the Defiance project lead, but my co-designer was a guy called James Moore, one of the most creative guys I've ever had the pleasure to work with.
Ebola1717: I bought this without realizing that it would be rather difficult without a joystick. Is there any way to rebind the keys. I'm playing on my laptop, and pg dn is turn right, and end is turn left, but they're in a vertical row, so it's incredibly awkward. The inverted up/down view is also throwing me off.
You can edit the keybindings manually by editing one of the games files. I can't remember which one it is right now as I don't currently have the game installed.
