Well... TET did a fairly ... Unfortunate job presenting it. I think that what he basically meant wasn't that he could just easily do it himself, what he wanted to say is that company is basically offering some work experience and look at how GOG works internally for something it could easily do without. He could have used better wording tho.

I would scrap the blue letters in exchange for the nice looking secretary.

Although, unemployment rates are very high in Poland (around 14%), and a lot of companies take advantage from it by paying shit or nothing to people who have no job opportunities at all (especially young people), but I believe GOG isn't such company.
I would be really happy if I could do an intern like that for GOG, but if I was said that my job isn't worth shit, I don't know if I would still have the enthusiasm :P
And such words were said by a person who is PR manager, you could expect him to form his opinions in a more polite form >.<
And even if they don't offer money, free GOGs would be more than enough as a payment! :D

I don't know how polish laws work, but in many countries such contract would be illegal. You can't have someone to work for you for free.

is there a cave or a ruined castle nearby? as a dragon i really need one of those to sleep in. (a dwarven mine is fine as well but those are almost always occupied by another dragon already)
also, can you give me some gold treasure? i don't want to keep it, i just sleep better when i have some gold next to me.

Yes, I've heard of them. I've also heard of dangerous working environments and workplace bullying, but that doesn't mean they're OK (or legal).
But that's just it - circumstances often do force people to take the job. In many sectors here in the UK it's getting harder and harder to get even the lowliest of paid jobs if you don't have any experience (even if you have good qualifications), which employers will only give you if you work for free.

12 hours a week? I'm disappointed because I'm only getting 40 in my current job. Bummer. There's 168 hours in a week. I need to find a second job.

That being said, the attitude that any work is "not worth paying for" is not a particularly admirable attitude. An intern has the right to expect to learn something and be actively taught by staff in exchange for investing that kind of time on your behalf. The way you worded it there makes it seem as though GOG's primary motivation in this regard is the free work. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

perhaps instead of saying " we are not paying you!", TET should have said:
"your payement will not be in money. Instead your payment will come in the form of experience and wisdom, which was according to certain greek philisopher worth more than all the gold in the world"
