Has anyone ever played NeverEnd? I found it on gamespot where it got poor reviews but as I did more research I found a few people that said it was a good game. I’m just looking for some insight on this game.
It's on my list, but I'm hoping for a holiday sale. I'm not willing to pay full price for it.
Ive got it but it was unplayable, after a while it would crash and would not have saved any of the "saves" IIRC
i have it on my GG wishlist. i'm waiting for 75% off sale for $2.50, then i will buy it. i heard it was pretty good old skool, but there are alot of bugs, patching is a must.

I read that it was an old school style game with dated graphics and fighting system. That why I ask the question I been enjoy old school RPG.
Never End? Can't find it in the catalogue... it's supposed to be available on GOG? o_O

Thanks. I thought "GG" in a previous post by Heretic777 was just a typo. :P
I think, I've played it a while ago. A bit. It's sorta playable, but ugly and full of random battles out of nowhere. The English version never got the second patch.

It's $20 now. You'll need more OFF than that.

I wonder how this compares to NeverEnd?

Interesting looking game. Got better reviews then NeverEnd.

Gods : lands of infinity is an interesting game for its concept. The game is very linear though but I thought it had a very unique atmosphere (the musics are very well composed). It seemed to me that a few features have not been implemented, but nothing that prevents you from finishing the game.

... and you get to play the sexiest heroine in video game history.

Now that I have finished the game, I can tell you that NeverEnd is a very decent game. To me, $10 is not overpriced.

Certainly not the best rpg game I have ever played, but still a pleasant game. The scenario is quite good with an interesting ending, at least the one I had. I read somewhere that there are 3 differents endings, depending on the decisions you made during the game. You can turn your character into a real evil bitch if you want to.

For the most part, quests are fine and some are not as simple as they seem to be. Some are really interesting, and they don't require the tedious mass killing monsters.

I think I have played around 30-40 hours. The game is fairly clean, with just a few bugs here and there. I encountered a couple crashes, but the v1.1 patch fixes that.

I played through the original version of that game, before they came out with the special edition. It ended on a 'to be continued' cliffhanger after what seemed like it should only have been 1/3 of the game. Instead of a continuation, they released the Special Edition. I never found out if they actually finished the game, or if they just prettied it up a bit. Since you seem to have played the special edition, can you tell me if its finished or if it still ends on that cliffhanger? Also, about how long is the game? Its been a long time since I played the original, but it was somewhere form 10-20 hours.

I just purchased NeverEnd and Gods: Land of Infinity but haven’t found the time to play them yet. I have a huge backlog of games right now and Skyrim sucking the life out of me.

Thanks for writing back after your experiences, make me want to play it even more.

Personally if you get 30 hours of decent game play for $10 that is a good deal. Its like paying $0.34 for an hour of fun.

It's like Final Slavtasy (see what I did there?) in terms of game mechanics, but not that compelling, really. Give it a shot if you're a fan of not-that-well-known RPGs, but don't pay the 100% price.
