Barnell: Has anyone ever played NeverEnd? I found it on gamespot where it got poor reviews but as I did more research I found a few people that said it was a good game. I’m just looking for some insight on this game.
Cambrey: Now that I have finished the game, I can tell you that NeverEnd is a very decent game. To me, $10 is not overpriced.
Certainly not the best rpg game I have ever played, but still a pleasant game. The scenario is quite good with an interesting ending, at least the one I had. I read somewhere that there are 3 differents endings, depending on the decisions you made during the game. You can turn your character into a real evil bitch if you want to.
For the most part, quests are fine and some are not as simple as they seem to be. Some are really interesting, and they don't require the tedious mass killing monsters.
I think I have played around 30-40 hours. The game is fairly clean, with just a few bugs here and there. I encountered a couple crashes, but the v1.1 patch fixes that.
I just purchased NeverEnd and Gods: Land of Infinity but haven’t found the time to play them yet. I have a huge backlog of games right now and Skyrim sucking the life out of me.
Thanks for writing back after your experiences, make me want to play it even more.
Personally if you get 30 hours of decent game play for $10 that is a good deal. Its like paying $0.34 for an hour of fun.
MobiusArcher: [ I played through the original version of that game, before they came out with the special edition. It ended on a 'to be continued' cliffhanger after what seemed like it should only have been 1/3 of the game. Instead of a continuation, they released the Special Edition. I never found out if they actually finished the game, or if they just prettied it up a bit. Since you seem to have played the special edition, can you tell me if its finished or if it still ends on that cliffhanger? Also, about how long is the game? Its been a long time since I played the original, but it was somewhere form 10-20 hours.
Well the games called NeverEnds maybe it just never ends.
