I'd like to add a comment regarding the Cyan Worlds adventure games - I stumbled upon an old thread in The MYSTcommunity forum detailing where to find and how to obtain the music files from within the game installation. Now, this is (obviously) about the retail versions, but it might apply to the GOG version as well. I only have Myst: Maseterpiece Edition here, so that's the only one I could test.
Note that the mentioned Riveal app requires Java (which sucks for me).

Throne of Bhaal soundtrack is missing from Baldur's Gate 2

Added the commercial soundtrack for Trine 2: Complete Story, and a free download link for the Machinarium Bonus EP that includes FLAC files (email address required to obtain download).

A couple more:

-- Dark Fall 3 - Lost Souls - Official Soundtrack available here (it's the third game down the list).

-- Deadlock: Planetary Conquest - Selected tracks in HQ (stereo) here kindly shared by the composer Chip Harris himself.

Ok, this is a long story.
There's the Hitman: Codename 47 / Hitman 2 - Silent Assassin Soundtrack on (through other sellers), a single copy of this on [url=http://www.discogs.com/Jesper-Kyd-Hitman-Codename-47-Hitman-2-Silent-Assassin-Original-Soundtracks/release/840463]Discogs (which I know nth about) and on The MovieMusic Store (which has some very unfavourable terms, especially for international buyers).
So the best option might actually be to link to La-La Land Records where it's out of print but offer a few selected tracks for download, at least for Hitman: Codename 47.

But there are also some good news:
-- Hitman 2: Silent Assassin - available on CD Baby.

-- Ground Control (+ Expansion) - I found the soundtrack by O.Strandh - Massive E. on Grooveshark where one can listen to it online and it's possible to download the tracks with little effort (not sure if it's against the terms though).

No luck with Ground Control 2: Operation Exodus (SE).

Yes, hopefully folks can fill in the gaps on these.

I'll link in the free tracks on La-La Land Records. Places that carry a very limited amount of an out-of-print CD aren't worth listing, in my estimation. Much more preferable are download vendors with unlimited stock.

I use Discogs as a database site when research music, but I haven't really bought much there. It operates more as a trading post shop than a proper storefront, I believe.

Odd, I stumbled upon it only this one time. I know next to nth about them and I admit not reading all the legal stuff in detail; the part you quoted though makes them a questionable source, so I'm going to ignore them from now on.

-- Iron Storm - I'm starting to think that there's no proper soundtrack for this one, its Mobygames page only lists a Sound Studio (TALK OVER Inc.) with no info/ entry for music/ composer(s); maybe owners of the game on GOG can shed more light.

-- Legacy of Kain: Defiance - you probably noticed it yourself, but I followed a link to the Nosgothic Realm site from the Legacy of Kain The Lost Worlds page you added for the other Legacy of Kain games. A soundtrack can be found here. The mentioned Read Me file is quite detailed, but it is a complete rip of the in-game music, plus recordings of the Prologue, Epilogue and End Credits.

Also, check your PMs about a couple of other games.

Thanks for finding the Invictus link, I didn't realise Richard Band did game music. I associate him with some good fringe horror films, and even more with a lot of cheese that shows up on Mystery Science Theatre. :) I have to link to him just for that.

I'll move Iron Storm to the Games Without Music list for now, along with Triple Town (I'm playing it right now and it's virtually free of music apart from the occasional short fanfare). If anyone comes back with info to the counter then I can move them again.

I'll put up the Legacy of Kain: Defiance link too, it sounds like the compilation is decently curated. Though as with any link, people are welcome to challenge me on it. I want to do right by everyone that I can.

Combat Mission may only have menu music. I can't check it up, since it's not Windows 8 compatible.
