HypersomniacLive: I was unsuccessful in finding anything about BHSound Factory online.
Maybe this? - http://www.bhsound.wbl.sk/

Could be, but even if it's the right one, the site doesn't provide much information (doesn't even mention specific projects) and there's no contact info either.

Anyway, thanks for the link.

Yeah, I can't find any contact info too.

Good work by your friends, I've added the relevant entries. I listed the Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude tracks as sel, since it isn't the complete soundtrack, nor is it technically original.

Decided to take a look at my own games and lo, found a couple with the soundtracks in readable format. Risk of Rain has all the music and sounds as OGG files, and Aqua Kitty: Milk Mine Defender has them as WMA files. Guess I should go through my other games. :)

EDIT: Clive Barker's Undying is supported by Dragon Unpacker, and the Music resource file seems to contain the soundtrack in WAV format. I will unpack it later and listen to the files to see if they are indeed the OST.

Thanks triock, but Mirsoft.info is one of those highly dubious sites, both in terms of legality and likely cleanliness of files. I would not recommend anyone to it.
The source for all following is the Videogame Music Preservation Foundation Wiki (VGMPW).

-- Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold - Ripped and recorded music for online listening and download in OGG format.

-- Blake Stone: Planet Strike - Ripped and recorded music; online listening and download in OGG format.

-- SimCity 2000 Special Edition - Ripped and recorded music for online listening and download in OGG format; the music is actually from "Sim City 2000", not sure what difference that might make regarding the music/ soundtrack, if any.

Also:

-- Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition - For folks finding it too hard or unwilling to go through unpacking, etc., the music is available on VGMPW for online listening and download in OGG format; could be added as an alternative.

And two additions for the "Further Releases" list:

-- Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar (C64) - The ripped and recorded music for online listening and download in OGG format.

-- Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny (C64) - The ripped and recorded music for online listening and download in OGG format.

And last one for this post:

-- Rise of the Triad (2013)
According to the composer Andrew Hulshult, he was tasked to remake the original songs of Rise of the Triad: Dark War by Lee Jackson; these are 34(!) in total according to VGMPW.
Now, Interceptor Entertainment list 7 tracks on their SoundCloud channel - I have no idea which tracks are included in the GOG version, so it's possible that there are a few repeats here.

Plus, Andrew Hulshult made the following comment in the Doomworld Forums (late 2013):
Also: ROTT OST will see the light of day...SOON ;)
Just another post to show my appreciation of your, and our community work, to give my honest feedback.

The bad, much of the "free stuff" are either too incomplete parts of OST''s (1 track Broken Sword 2, several Sierra games with just one or two tracks..), broken links (Gothic 3, Omikron) or not downloadable (Septerra Core), and not all are official soundtracks released free like Beyond Good & Evil has been (link got removed..?), but ripped (Deadly Premonition) or in a legal blur from fansites (Boken Sword games) and therefore close to piracy, if not just that..

The good, thank you all again, great thread and research!! So many bandcamp and a price to pay though.. As of officially free ones from games I have, I got Arcanum, BG&E, Gabriel Knight compilation, Quest for Glory V and SpellForce Platinum OST's. And many titles in check to get it from their install folder, someday..

Surprised Wing Commander: Armada's not been added yet. You can get the soundtrack in MIDI format at http://www.wcnews.com/wcpedia/Category:Wing_Commander:_Armada#Music

I actually have a link to it in my missing soundtrack GOGmix so thought I'd mention it.

HypersomniacLive: -- Zafehouse: Diaries - There's a data.zip file and within it is a music folder, but the contents are in .xma format and I have no idea what to make out of them. Maybe someone knowledgeable could help?
Going by the names of the two files, it's quite likely that the game only has an Intro Theme and no further in-game music (I haven't played the game yet).
.xma is the native audio format for the XBOX. It is a variant of .wma but sadly hardly any audio player supports it. Microsoft probably didn't like that format to be widely available, they even pulled their own .xma software which they called XACT.

However, there is a freeware utility that can convert .xma to .wav and vice versa.

Added all except Rise of the Triad, since we may want to wait until it's clear if an official OST is coming out. As you know, those get preference over other listing options.

Added as well.

Sorry for the late update, lot of things going on today.

Thanks, Geralt, will give it a try and see what the results are.
There's a program that can look around the files of Arx Fatalis. It's called ArxPak and can be downloaded at http://arx-fatalis.wikia.com/wiki/Sites

I've done research and it can open the game files to the point you can get the music from them. Not sure how but you definitely can.

Great find, I'll check it out later since I have Arx Fatalis here.
Today's results are really slim (too tired to do more work/ research).

-- Arx Fatalis
I didn't have success with the tool suggested by Eniena, but I found another one (Arx Fatalis .PAK unpacker) here.
There doesn't seem to be a *.pak file that contains any proper music files. There's SFX.pak which I unpacked and got plenty of WAV files, but as expected they're all in-game sounds.
This one surely was not worth the trouble :(

-- Zafehouse: Diaries
As I already said in a previous post, there's a data.zip file and within it is a music folder which contains the file intro.xma. I've used the XWM - WAV Conversion tool suggested by Geralt_of_Rivia and successfully converted it into WAV. It also appears to be the only music file that one can get from the the installed game.

Note that if you get an "msvcr100.dll" error when first running the tool, you'd need to install C++ Redistributable Package 2010.

EDIT: Idiotically missed to properly credit Geralt_of_Rivia for the XWM - WAV Conversion tool; sorry Geralt >//<
