Squelch: Does anyone know if these games will run in a Virtual Machine (Parallels or Fusion)?
I think every game should work using virtualization. The only problem is performance, but with most good old games, this is not really an issue.
I will try
CrossOver Games as well. I dislike buying a Windows licence and have been a supporter of CrossOver and
CodeWeavers for some time now. The biggest problems with games is DRM and copy protection, as they use strange stuff deep inside the Windows insides, with good old games, this could be solved and most games have a good chance of working properly. I already know that Jagged Alliance 2 should work without problems (I recently installed a CD version). Once I have the opportunity to buy a gog game (i.e. have a credit card), I will produce a screencast detailing the process of getting it to work using CrossOver Games. This would also work for Linux.
