Hi! I'm looking for hack and slash games like god of war or Devil May Cry on PC. Any suggestions?

(I'm not interested in Titan Quest style games, those are ARPGs not hack & slash)

It is old, but Lionheart is hack and slash; not much of a story (if any) though. Sacred as well, but tons of quests.

The first Divine Divinity fits this bill although there may be a bit too much story to the game if all you are looking for is hack and slash.

if your looking for a H&S type GOG you should take a look at "Die By The Sword."

Yeah Darksiders, its like a mix of GoW and Zelda, sort of Soul Reaver I guess, its sequel is out in August, so it would be kind of timely to try it now.

It seems you're not looking for any kind of RPG at all but purely for action games, right? Lionheart and Divine Divinity wouldn't be up your ally then.

You could try Demon Stone. i wasn't too impressed by it, but maybe you'd like it better. Or Enclave, that one's great, but maybe a bit closer to a FPS - a wild hack and slash approach might get you killed very quickly. Still worth a try,

I have to warn you that Prototype has some compability issues on some PCs, even though its kind of a recent game. Check the steam forums if you plan on getting that one. If i recall correctly, the game doesnt work if you got hyper threading turned on in your CPU. Activision closed the studio that made the first Prototype and a patch to fix this issue never came.

Chaos Legion is a port of a PS2 game, and its kind of old. I played it a very long time ago, so i really dont know how compability with modern PCs is for this one. By the way, i think itll be almost impossible to find a cheap copy of this game.

If you can find it: Severance: Blade of Darkness. It's quite old, but very good.
