And yes, finally I completed this too!
I played a LOT this game about 10 years ago, collecting seven instruments. But, I can't remember why, I left this for around one year, so when I loaded up my save, I can't remember what I did. Basically I was lost in the game, I know there was the last dungeon, but I can't reach it (no internet, so I did all by myself).
Today I managed to complete this game, starting a new game, collecting 20 shells, all available upgrade from Mad Bat, all 12 heart pieces, trading sequence complete...but with a walktrhough.
I think this is one of the easiest Zelda combat side, but there are so many secrets and puzzles, the overworld is very hard to navigate, because you must retrieve a key to open a dungeon...and even when you opened it, there can be a problem (for example the underwater dungeon entrance).
But it's one of my favourite Zelda game, because it contains sidescrolling sections and Super Mario elements, like enemies and side-stuff.
