Taleroth: Now you really make me want to join the IRC. An IRC channel that bans pirates?

My heart be still.

GameRager: They also troll everyone, so don't go unless you're used to that sort of stuff or have a weak heart. :)
We don't troll "everyone" as we will welcome anyone who wishes to join us.

Just because your very nature has caused yourself to cause argument and debate in #gog, do not assume that others will do the same.

You only troll those you don't like....got it.

Then you ask me to not talk as I do here.....also got it.

The thing about justifying is that it implies to me the thing you’re doing would usually be considered bad but this is why it’s right to do it in this instance. You’re essentially trying to convince me this action is the lesser of two evils.

And of course the choice of these three breads is the most horrendous of evils. They offer me a choice where there is none; I only like one of the three. Of course they aren’t to know that but still they get my hopes up by offering me a choice where there is none. At least there isn’t if I want to enjoy the bread but who would chose bread they don’t like? Other people might like more than one of the breads but there certainly isn't consider the feelings of those who may only like one of them or worse none, they are to suffer the let down when they are presented with these other “choices”. I feel especially sorry for those who like none of the breads as they get their hopes raised and then crushed three times and at the end of it are left with nothing for their troubles.

At least if there was one bread some only suffer the let down once. Frankly I find it quite disturbing that most don't even consider peoples feelings or the damage they may be causing.

So GameRager, what do you see as justifying it?

I see it as better to have the illusion of choice and more to "choose" from than none at all.

Also be quiet and enjoy your bread or no dessert for anyone. ;)

nondeplumage: The chalice from the palace has the brew that is true.

But they broke the chalice from the palace!

So now:

The pellet with the poison's in the flagon with the dragon; the vessel with the pestle has the brew that is true.
For some reason I thought of this scene after reading this post.

Where's the Poison?

Yes, just another illusion to surround ourselves with, at least we are aware that some of them are illusions.

I don't want dessert anyway, I filled myself up on bread. Yet another atrocity bread caused.

Yes but it's only an illusion if you can't compromise and try new things....thus it's possible at least one of the bread choices is one you haven't tried and thus are undecided enough on to choose it as a possible choice.

I have tried all your breads, since there's only three and it's not really a high enough number to think it's unreasonable I might have tried them all at some point. Although it may have been long enough since my last tasting that things may have changed. Very well, for the sake of actual choice I will try them again.
I find sleep to be justified by the dreams I have.

Our breads come from the finest alternate dimensions so they may not quite be as you remembered them. Enjoy.
Loving the reference in the first post! Now, "anybody wan'a peanut?"
Speaking of baby-eating:

If I am told that I have to eat a baby in order to live, guess what? there's going to be some baby-back ribs on the menu.

Keep in mind this is meant for pure survival, nothing else.

-20 HP is leaning towards "eradicated" rather than simply "dead". A good cleric can resurrect you, but I don't think anything short of a god can bring you back from eradication :P.

(-20 REP = -20 HP :P)
