If everything went right, you should receive a confirmation on the site and in your email, after the purchase.
Some people have found that the 'cardholder's name' box doesn't appear. You have to press Tab to enter the field, then you should be able to process your order. (If that's the issue you're having.)

Your games will automatically added to My Account > MyGames

If you put your CC details in and click Process Order Now, and you get an error, it might be your card. If your card is US only, then GoG won't accept the payment since their orders are processed in the UK. You can try PayPal if this is the problem. Good Luck!

No... Just no.... GOG is based out of Cyprus, not the UK. Credit cards don't fail because GOG won't accept them. Cards don't go through because banks don't like sending payment to foreign countries, particularly Cyprus, where a lot of alleged fraud occurs.

No no no, last I knew they were registered in Cyprus but did their card processing in the UK.

Hmm, that's funny. Last I knew the reason why people were having problems was because they were processing in Cyprus (which supposedly sets off all sorts of alarms at banks and credit card companies). I could be wrong. There's obviously 2 different stories going around. All I know is *someone* is spreading misinformation... :/

Word of GOG
Although GOG is a Polish company (with CD Projekt as an owner) it is based in Cyprus. This is due to the fact that Cyprus has good and friendly regulations in terms of VAT tax and licensing deals. We decided to make it this way cause in Poland VAT is ~5% higher, and there are extremely unfriendly regulations in terms of signing international licensing deals, each contract needs a paper called “certificate of residence” which needs to be done in local authorities by companies selling games via GOG – real pain in the ass;) So actually we had no choice, otherwise GOG couldn’t normally operate.
And yes, for processing transactions GOG use British company:)
Payments are processed by a British company, however that's irrelevant for the credit card companies. It's GOG being registered in Cyprus that causes the red flags and general panicking.

I don't thin CNN does it on purpose, I just think they are stupid. :P

Eh. I don't think it's unintentional. And it doesn't make that much difference - it still means they're presenting a biased view and limiting what information their viewers have.

OT: Welcome to GOG! If you've successfully purchased, you should get a confirmation page on the site with a link to Your Account where your games are, and you should also get a confirmation email.
