DO NOT TRADE WITH ANYONE WITH SHIT REP.
As pointed out by SirPrimalform on the known scammers thread; this simple googling trick will quickly reveal a would-be scammer:

https://www.google.co.uk/#q=site:www.gog.com+%22Big__McLargeHuge%22&hl=en&safe=off&prmd=imvns&filter=0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.&fp=9cc6ce1e3edfb4fe&bpcl=35466521&biw=1366&bih=649

Just input the exact name of the user attempting to trade with you into the quotation marks, and the results should speak for themselves.

The scammer attempting to impersonate K_1269 contacted me, and again my bat sense was tingling, so I looked him up, and found this thread as one of the first results on Google.

Here's a screenshot in case it will help anyone distinguish him from the real "K_1269".

Notice the fullstop at the end of "K_1269." and the real "K_1269" further up on the list. Also note how the scammer earlier contacted me masquerading as "Big__McLargeHuge". I'm also a bit suspicious of Darthprymus, who contacted me with the same trade after I had blocked "Big__McLargeHuge".

Either the scammer is an idiot, or they are trolling me.

Since it's only a matter of time before any of us might get clumsily impersonated, make sure to always Google up anyone who contacts you via PM using the trick above, and to pay careful attention to a person's rep and join date when chatting with them in the forums.

Before there was Big__McLargeHuge there was SirPrimalF0rm: http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/classifieds/post3639

Meant for trolling as much as anything I think but there's a chance it might be used for scamming.

The annoying this is that I contacted T days ago and he said he'd pass it on to the support department who still haven't done anything (I know it's the weekend now, but it wasn't when all this happened).

Getting abit tired of being thrown in with the scammers just because im trying to do a trade or two and i've even offered to do it first. and as for doing it at the same time or near abouts just bad luck and i even stayed up an hour waiting for a response not even a no.
Recent events have led me to think that a single person out of fun or spite, want to create somekind of a mess on our forum...

You have the walako affair, the chinese bot links to I don't know what kind of reseller, and theses impersonations....

As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't affect me in anyway... but I believe security and information display are gonna be restructred on the forum, to further prevent "indisirables" of causing havoc among us.

Alright, I'm sorry then. It was truly bad timing, and I was tired of it all myself. As it goes, someone gifted the game to me, so I don't need it anymore :).
I'll remove your name from the suspicion list, I'm sorry if I have hurt your feelings. I'm just being extra careful there days.

Ultimatum: Walako affair?

I hear someone has been impersonating Xyem, trying to steal all his forum-cred (that's like street cred, but for forums).

No, I have a twiddly mustache.
I've only taken a quick look over the thread and is it just me or hasn't anybody mentioned the registration date which is the only thing you can't modify manually? Seeing the other person's registration date on the "messages" screen should suffice and may be something the tech guys might be able to add quickly.

Glad to see you here once again, I missed you ;)
You guys know that this is not the purpose of the forums? Why should GOG do something that is nothing but a legal liability for them? That they tolerate this in the first place is very forthcoming of them. I don't think it is allowed on the Steam forums ....
