If you're set on trying to find and remove the virus then keep running different AV programs and hope one of them detects it. If nothing is detected then you've basically got two options- first, if you don't use your computer for anything particularly secure (e.g. online banking) then you can take a wait-and-see approach and watch for any suspicious behavior (computer slowing down, lots of network activity, etc), doing nothing if no such behavior is observed, and nuking the drive if it is. Or if you do use your computer for anything secure then you should just nuke it right from the start, as dealing with something like financial information being stolen is far more of a pain than simply reinstalling your OS and various programs.

And if you're nuking it, do a good job and wipe the partitions off as well.
Hmm there's a thought, a lot of viruses & malware manage to cloak themselves in windows, perhaps you should download a liveCD of ubuntu or some other linux distro and run an antivirus from that. That way the files can't be cloaked by piggybacking on windows processes, the ram will be cleaned if you start from a cold reboot and the ubu distro can't be compromised since its on read only media

Holy shit, now it won't let me reboot with the disk! I have the Windows 7 disk in, and when it reboots, it says Press any key to reboot with the disk. I slam every god-damned key on my keyboard, but nothing gets through!

can you get into bios or safe mode? Might be that the USB keyboard option in bios is set to OS rather than boot

How would I go about doing that? I tried getting into Safe Mode, but it isn't accepting my repeated slams of the F8 key, either!

Well the bios key should be displayed on boot at the bottom of the screen. Try holding control at boot for safe mode, sometimes the keyboard needs a wake up.
You got access to a PS2 keyboard and port on the motherboard?

I tried holding control, and it didn't work. Also, I don't have a PS2 keyboard. I just have the stock one Alienware gave me.

Weren't you supplied with a USB to PS2 converter? If not, you should probably be able to pick one up fairly cheaply, if you are unable to borrow a PS2 keyboard from someone else.

I use the built in Windows firewall. So shoot me.
