WingedKagouti: He's wondering if it's worth the time (and bandwidth) to download it. Could be that his internet has a cap on data transfer and thus he doesn't want to waste it on something he wouldn't actually enjoy playing.
pimpmonkey2382: Very possible, but I'm thinking he's doing "It's free but I'm gonna ask anyway because I'm too lazy to click download" :P
I only have it because I clicked on the banner, hoping to get to the store page to see what kind of game it is before deciding whether I want it in my library. Because why would I want something I know I won't enjoy? While it doesn't seem to be the case here, it could be that only a limited amount of copies are available for free, and if me grabbing one of those copies prevents someone who knows they want to play it from getting it for free, then I'd rather that person got it instead.
After looking at the Steam store page for the game (the GOG store page does not appear to be available) it is indeed a game I am not going to enjoy.
